Today is International Dot Day! We celebrated creativity, courage, and self-expression inspired by the book, "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds at GGM. This special day reminds us that a single mark, a dot, can spark endless possibilities when we believe in ourselves and our ability to make a difference.
Please visit the area outside the art room in GGM at Back to School Night this Thursday to see our student's beautiful creations!

Today at GFB High, we came together as a community to honor and remember the lives lost on 9/11. We are grateful to our guest speaker, Colonel Christopher Holshek (Ret., U.S. Army), who not only shared his powerful words during our memorial service but also gave a special presentation to grades 6–12 on the importance of service work.
A heartfelt thank you to Jared Kahmar, Donte Walter, Clayton Chan, and to Sam Johnson for leading our chorus in Our Country Tis of Thee. A very special thanks to Tom Reilly for organizing this important event, and to all of our student presenters and staff who helped make today’s memorial so meaningful.

Our little Kindergarten learners kicked off the day with their very first bus ride to their Boo Hoo Yahoo Breakfast at George Grant Mason Elementary. Lots of smiles and a few nervous giggles! Thanks to our amazing PTO, each child received a Tuxedo backpack stuffed with goodies: a scratch pad, pencil, and a sprinkle of magic school dust to tuck under their pillow the night before school. Ms. Sayles made the morning extra special by sharing Snuggle Buddies with the children to take home and reading a delightful Bigfoot story that had everyone laughing. Here’s to a year full of learning, laughter, and Kindergarten adventures!
