Tuxedo UFSD employees, past and present, were honored at the Town of Ramapo on Friday as part of the Rotary Club of Suffern "Flags For Heroes" ceremony. 🇺🇸
The #VeteransDay event was a community tribute to the heroes in our lives. Medallions of the heroes were attached to US flags as part of a flag dedication at Ramapo Town Hall. In all, over 50 heroes were honored around the region.
The following locally affiliated heroes were nominated and honored at the ceremony:
- Jeff White, Superintendent of Tuxedo UFSD in Honor of SGT. William John White, USMC and CPL William John White, US Army.
- Roy Reese, Principal of George F. Baker High School
- Dolores Terlecky, Principal of George Grant Mason Elementary
- Marie Castricone, Tuxedo UFSD District Nurse
- Brendan Eirand, Tuxedo UFSD Director of Operations
- Lt. Louis E. Allen- US Army
- Laura Sobel, Tuxedo UFSD teacher, in Honor of Capt. Robert Reffelt.
