Dear Tuxedo School Family,

I hope you enjoyed the February break and were able to celebrate our great national leaders/heroes, particularly the birthdays of President George Washington and President Abraham Lincoln.

The purpose of my communication today is to inform you that our timeline to repair the damages caused by the flood in George F. Baker High School has been achieved.  As such, in-person instruction will resume on Monday, February 28th.  I want to recognize the herculean efforts of our architectural firm, CS Arch, mitigation experts Belfor Property Restoration, BertussiPlumbing, restoration companies Renu Contracting & Restoration and Milburn Flooring, as well as our insurer, the New York Insurance Reciprocal (NYSIR).  A special thanks also to our administrators, faculty and staff and to all of you for your patience as we worked through this unforeseeable event.  A full report along with photographs will be presented at the regular Board of Education meeting on March 16th.

Thank you again for your patience and support

Jeffrey T. White
