Kindergarten teacher Angela Rush was recently recognized in the Photo News for Teacher Appreciation Week. Ms. Rush has wanted to be a teacher ever since she was four years old; and here she is, 19 years into her professional career, still teaching; and still learning too! She says that the challenges of this past year have put us all back into "learning mode", much like the students we teach. This experience has given her an enhanced appreciation for parenting and teaching and also a chance to evaluate her own strengths and weaknesses in order to continue to grow as an educator.
