The Board of Education is forming several new committees, and we invite community members to apply to join us in our work! The application form can be found HERE. Please return the completed application by August 22, 2025 to boe@tuxedoufsd.org
Student Success Committee
The Student Success Committee will work on issues relating to our students' academic experience and extracurricular offerings. Possible areas of focus include: testing, curricula, athletics, and clubs.
Outreach Committee
The Outreach Committee seeks to increase community involvement with the school district. Subcommittees will strive to preserve our district’s past, support its present, and work to build its future. This work may include, among other things, the creation of an active alumni association, promoting the use of the schools for community events, and preparing to welcome new families from Tuxedo Reserve.
Health & Wellness Committee
The Health & Wellness Committee will work to promote student well-being by addressing the physical, mental and social-emotional health of students through the development of policies, programs, and initiatives. Possible areas of focus include, among other things, creating and promoting safe and inclusive environments free from harassment, intimidation and bullying in all its forms.
