Congratulations to the George F. Baker Middle School Class of 2023! Eight eighth graders were honored in a ceremony held this afternoon in the George F. Baker High School Auditorium. “Enjoy every minute of High School, it is going to go by in a flash,” Superintendent Jeff White told students before Mr. Fitzsimmons and Ms. Park began the ceremony.
Friends, families, faculty and staff watched the rising ninth graders receive their diplomas as well as awards for academics, arts, athletics and leadership. Also honored today were Karasten Kasker and Gabriel Ogden, the recipients of the 2023 American Legion Award for their qualities of “Courage, Honor, Leadership, Patriotism, Scholarship and Service.”
After walking up the aisle as graduates, students celebrated with family and friends over lunch in the GFB library.
