The next place for George Grant Mason Elementary Kindergarten students to go is up the stairs and into first grade! This afternoon, Ms. Rush’s class celebrated the occasion with a “Moving-Up” picnic.
Our Kindergartners were joined by family, friends and TUFSD faculty and staff for a pizza lunch and tie-dye activity. Before students savored in a slice, Ms. Rush thanked everyone gathered for a fantastic school year. She then gave each student a copy of the Dr. Seuss classic “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!,” reminding her future first-graders that no matter where they go, she will always be there for them.
