The George F. Baker High School Interact Club made a special appearance at last week’s Suffern Rotary Club luncheon. The event, held at the Salvation Army Officer Training Center, provided an opportunity for our "interactors" to showcase the forty plus events and activities they held during the 2022-23 school year. Members of the group, led by advisors Mr. Reilly and Ms. Elmendorf, took turns detailing how the Interact Club dedicated their time to service since September. This includes several food drives, in conjunction with National and Junior National Honor Society, an earthquake relief fund drive and volunteerism at Tuxedo community events. Reilly says those in attendance were ”very impressed with how active the Interact Club was this year.” The GFB students who presented were: Frank DeGenaro, Camila Granilo, Maya McColgan, Jake Sandak, Juliana Scanlon, Alex Scully and Dayanara Vasquez.
